How to Design for Mobile Apps: An Intro to Sketch

​Ever wanted to learn how to design UI for mobile apps?? Join Graphic Designer Tamia James as she walks you through how to design seamless user interfaces using Sketch! Sketch is the top digital design program for creating interfaces for mobile, web, and icon design. This workshop is for beginners to become comfortable in using a program that top UI/UX Designers use to build some of your favorite websites and mobile apps! In this workshop, you will learn how to use and navigate Sketch’s interface, different plug-ins you can install, and how to design your very first prototype app!

​Prior knowledge: No prior design knowledge or experience needed! All experience levels are welcome!!

​IMPORTANT NOTES / SETUP REQUIREMENTS: Sketch currently only runs on Mac OS, so you will have to bring a Macbook in order to follow along and participate in the workshop.

​Prior to the workshop, you should be sure to download the latest version of Sketch on your Macbook.
