About Event

Feel like your events or work should be more accessible to more people?

Improving accessibility may seem like adding on more work and sometimes we might feel this additional work isn't needed. But in order to be more inclusive, it is very needed!

Everyone has different access needs. This class teaches how to create presentations that accommodate access needs for a variety of disabilities.

Join me to learn how to make your presentations more accessible!

Registration Information:

Recommended registration fee: $25 USD. Low or no income suggested fee: $10 USD.

Register above and send registration fee to @CazKilljoy on Venmo.

No one turned away for lack of funds (NOTAFLOF)! Email me (contact the host) for financial accommodation.

Access Information:

This meeting will be held on Zoom. Closed Captioning will be provided by AI (Rev), which I know is less than ideal. There will be no interpreters during this class. Please email me (contact the host) if you are interested in taking this class with CART or ASL and I will notify you when the class will be held.

I know how important it is to provide language accommodations but I am unable to do so for this class session as I don't personally have the money, nor is there enough time to raise the money or secure a sponsor to cover the costs of language support.

About Me:

I am a disabled person who is awaiting a hearing for SSI and is having major surgery on July 31st. I've been living on around $200 USD per month and varying in-kind support for the past year. I am using money raised from this class to supplement my living expenses as my checking account and ABLE account (a savings account for people with disabilities) will have nothing in them by the end of July -- hence the last minute decision to hold this class.
