About Event

On the holiday of Shavuot we celebrate the revelation of divine presence within each of us. Yoga allows us to embody our experience of the divine in order to live our most effective and joyful lives. In this practice we will use movement and breath work to explore how we can step into our personal power, honor our divinity through our relationships with ourselves and each other, and invite boundaries that create more expansiveness in our lives. This practice is suitable for practitioners of all levels, and movements can be individually modified.

All of the poses are adaptable and everyone of all abilities is welcome to participate. Recommended props: a yoga mat, a chair, a blanket or pillow, and a strap (belt/tie). If you have questions about how to make yoga props out of the things you have in your home, or personalized modifications, please email me at rachel@heartshapedyoga.com for assistance.
