Help Your Peers is proud to present our first guest speaker, Amr Arafa, who built the EmergencyBnB which aims to bring Airbnb-like service to society's most vulnerable.

About speaker:

Amr Arafa is an MPA candidate at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, and the founder and CEO of EmergenyBnB - the sharing economy platform that allows people to host others who are experiencing vulnerability, temporarily, free of charge. Amr is a former manager of Product Management at Amazon. His previous management experience includes consulting for organizations such as the International Monetary Fund, The World Bank, Fannie Mae, and more. His entrepreneurial work was featured in some of the world's most prominent media outlets i.e. CNN, WashingtonPost, The Independent, BBC and many others.

In his free time, Amr volunteers to teach product management courses, i.e. at General Assembly, as well as mentor others in platforms such as Help Your Peers.
