About Steph Patterson

Steph is a communication strategist, storyteller, coach, and facilitator. Her passion for communication stems from her belief that words can change the world. She spent six years at Duarte, Inc., Silicon Valley’s premiere presentation design firm before launching her solo career as a communication strategist where she works primarily with entrepreneurs and founders to shape their company story. Her storytelling expertise has helped founders secure top-tier venture backing from firms like Greylock Partners, Shasta Ventures, and Google Ventures and win key customer accounts that lay the groundwork for future expansion. She specializes in early stage storytelling for Seed and Series A firms, and has worked with companies in a variety of industries, including construction tech, networking, drones, and insurance - to name a few. Steph has a love for all things story: On the weekends, you might find her playing make-believe pirates with her kids or staying up past midnight reading a captivating memoir.
