The Dual Pandemics: Fostering Equity in the Face of COVID-19 and Racism

​As noted by Dr. Susan Gooden, we currently face a dual pandemic: COVID-19 and racism. Blacks, Indigenous Persons, and Persons of Color are disproportionately dying from COVID-19, often due to working in front-line jobs, having limited access to quality health care, and experiencing structural racism. Further, police killings of Black persons reveal extensive structural inequities that public administration must acknowledge and resolve. In a discussion moderated by Dr. Susan Gooden, we will discuss:
